MetroCoal Limited (ASX-MTE) is an Australian coal company focused on thermal coal projects in the Surat Basin region of South East Queensland. MetroCoal's vision is to build a substantial cleaner energy and coal business based primarily on export thermal coal from underground mining and where possible, open cut mining.

MetroCoal holds an extensive portfolio of tenements in the Surat Basin. The projects draw on the Company’s extensive expertise in the extraction of coal resources at a time of rising global demand for cleaner, more efficient energy.

MetroCoal has established a resource base in excess of 3.8 Bt within its tenements and is actively increasing resource confidence.

MetroCoal’s experienced team has considerable knowledge and expertise covering geology, financial management and investment, and business development.
